NEWS


WILDLIFE

  • Wildlife has settled in Mount St. Artemis, find boars and wolfs all around the mountain. You can hunt them, and may give you some gold coins, or you can mount them and go a bit faster, you decide.


LOOTPOOL REDESIGN

  • A major redesign was implemented in Subzero 2.0, it adds an extra slot to your inventory for a secondary weapon. In addition to it, I've added a new system were new crate loadouts will be selected randomly at the start of every match, but this time, individually for every slot. Also some changes were made to item crates lootpool.


PERK NPC's

  • Perks now are selled via NPC's around the mountain, every one sells you 2 perks, a cheap and a more expensive one. This system will evolve over time, adding new npcs and perks, and additional ways to spend gold.


CONTENT

  • Some graphical improvements have been made to the game, improving the overall experience. More geometry has been added, and the skydome and ilumination have been completly renewed.

  • Some new Zip-Lines have been added to the mountain.

  • Some new shield mushrooms have been scattered through the mountain.

  • New waiting lobby redesign.

  • New cinematic for the winning player.

  • Completely renewed UI.

    • New storm alert notification.

    • New mode alert notification.

    • New lootpool alert notification.

  • Changed the base health from 150 to 100.

  • Undead Blizzard and Subzero Combat have been permanently disabled. I will continue to experiment with new modes in future updates.

  • Now you get gold for every storm phase that you survive.

  • Victory tie-breaker is now tracked by health and not by eliminations.


LOOTPOOL

  • Full Redisign:

    • Removed from Explosives: Egg Launcher, Anvil Launcher

    • Removed from Rifles: Assault Rifle (basic version)

  • Common Item Crates (Level 1) changes:

    • Added Uncommon items.

  • Rare Item Crates (Level 2) changes:

    • Added Epic items.

  • Drop Item Crates changes:

    • Added Exotic weapons.

    • Added Mythic weapons.

BUG FIXES

  • Fixed a bug that caused the player to get stuck in the pre-game lobby.

  • Fixed a bug that unintentionally spawned the player in the sky insted on the pre-game lobby when eliminated.

  • Fixed more bugs that caused some ziplanes to launch players off of the map, instantly killing them.

  • Now the minimap shows the cave entrances correctly.

  • Now the minimap shows the storm location correctly.

  • Fixed a bug where Undead Blizzard selects itself all the time, instead of rotating game modes every round.

  • Fixed a bug where in some cases your gold coins can reset after round 4 or 2.


KNOWN BUGS

  • I'm aware of a bug that causes every loadout to be enabled at the same time in some rare situations, leading to an unbalanced lootpool. I'm alredy working on fixing it.

  • I'm aware of a bug that causes similar or exact lootpools to be selected between rounds when they shouldn't. I'm alredy working on fixing it.
